Who is a health coach and do I need to consult one?

A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness expert helping clients feel their best through food & lifestyle changes by tailoring individualized wellness programs to meet their clients’ needs.

Perhaps the best way to assess whether you need a Health Coach is to reflect on a few questions:

  • Have you always wanted to lose weight but never managed to achieve any sustainable results…perhaps followed all popular fad diets only to watch its effects dissolve in no time at all?
  • Are you confused about which foods you should eat … Or why eating all that quinoa or kale does not appear to have any impact?
  • Do you find yourself reaching out for that cookie in that jar, that packet of crisps you know you shouldn’t be touching but can’t resist the temptation, or that 500 calorie piece of chocolate cake?
  • Are you worried about your health in your senior years? Perhaps because you have witnessed a family member lead a poor quality of life in the last few years of life?
  • Are you a teenager or a youngster having to manage your own diet, in addition to perhaps studying or a new job, when there are plenty of unhealthy options available around you?
